Gerald Fitch

President and Chief Executive Officer

Gerald Fitch is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Teridian Semiconductor Corp. In this role he is responsible for guiding the strategic direction of the company, business development and day-to-day operations. He was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer immediately following the acquisition of the company by Golden Gate Capital. Mr. Fitch joined Teridian’s predecessor company TDK Semiconductor Corp. as Chief Financial Officer in August 2000, and became Chief Operating Officer in August 2004.

Before joining Teridian, from 1997 to 2000 Mr. Fitch served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Airport Group International, a privately-held worldwide property development and management services provider owned by General Electric, Bechtel, and the Soros Quantum fund. From 1991 to 1997 Mr. Fitch was Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller of UnionBanCal Corporation and its primary subsidiary Union Bank, one of the 30 largest financial institutions in the United States.

David Gruetter

Chief Technology Officer

David Gruetter has over 20 years of engineering and engineering management experience in development of mixed signal and DSP based ICs for communications and storage applications.

Prior to joining Teridian in 2000, he was Texas Instruments' Director of Engineering for magnetic storage and home networking read/write channels. He had previously held senior engineering positions with Silicon Systems, Inc., which was acquired by Texas Instruments in 1996.

Mr. Gruetter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, and a second Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Computer Science, both from the University of California, Irvine. Back to top

Pete Todd

Vice President, Worldwide Sales

Pete Todd is the Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Teridian Semiconductor Corp. In this role he is responsible for direct sales team and channel management, customer relationship management and design wins, and revenue growth.

Mr. Todd joins Teridian with a strong track record of 20 years of experience in the industry. Todd came to Teridian after spending nearly 6 years successfully building strong global teams and sales traction at start-ups TransDimension, which was acquired by Oxford Semiconductor; and Quartics. Prior to TransDimension, Todd spent over 11 years at Toshiba America Electronic Components, where Todd and his team of 115 sales, application engineers and customer service professionals generated annual revenues in excess of $1 billion. Prior to Toshiba, Todd held various roles with the Northrop Corporation.

Mr. Todd holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California. Back to top

Kourosh Boutorabi

Vice President and General Manager, Advanced Metering Infrastructure Products

As Vice President and General Manager, Kourosh Boutorabi has profit and loss responsibility for Teridian's energy metering business unit and has direct oversight of product planning, marketing, IC design engineering, software development, and applications engineering.

Mr. Boutorabi joined Teridian in June 2002, and has since held PLM and Director of Marketing positions responsible for development of our market leading metering product line. In addition, he has been successful in getting our soft modem AFE and Silicon DAA product lines off the ground with strategic product roadmap development and key design wins at tier 1 OEMs.

Prior to joining Teridian, Mr. Boutorabi worked at Mindspeed Technologies as an Applications Engineering Manager for their xDSL modem product line and has also held Engineering Manager and Director positions at Westinghouse Electric and EG&G Astrophysics.

Mr. Boutorabi earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, from California State University, Fullerton. Back to top

Jay Cormier

Vice President and General Manager, Energy Measurement and Communication Products

Mr. Cormier is chartered with the management of new product development, hardware and firmware development strategy, application support, marketing communications, and network and secure access business unit profitability.

With over 20 years of semiconductor industry experience, Mr. Cormier will be leading the development of Teridian's enterprise and consumer related energy measurement and communication products along with focusing on gaining market share in the modem, smart card and ethernet product lines.

Prior to joining Teridian, Mr. Cormier held the position of vice president products & marketing/corporate officer at Sierra Monolithics, Inc. Cormier has also held various executive level positions at Mindspeed Technologies, Analog Devices and Sipex Corporation.

Mr. Cormier holds a Masters in Business Administration from Northeastern University, Boston, MA and a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA. Back to top

John Silk

Vice President of Operations

John Sillk has over 20 years of product engineering and quality assurance experience related to volume manufacturing of integrated circuits. He currently heads TSC’s product engineering, test development engineering and quality assurance departments and has led TSC’s successful achievement of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications. John began his career as a product engineer at Rockwell International and later at Silicon Systems, Inc.

Mr. Silk holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, PA. Back to top
