David Dominik

David Dominik has been a Managing Director of Golden Gate Capital since its inception in 2000. Prior to co-founding Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Dominik spent ten years as a managing director at Bain Capital. While there, he successfully focused on making operationally intensive growth investments, with a particular emphasis in the information, software, semiconductor and electronic hardware industries.

The common theme for Mr. Dominik has been partnering with management to pursue buyouts of companies applying technology or operating in technology-related industries. Mr. Dominik was responsible for managing Information Partners, a specialized fund within Bain Capital that focused on opportunities in the information services and software markets. Mr. Dominik also served on the investment committee of Brookside, Bain Capital's public equity hedge fund. In addition, Mr. Dominik opened and ran the California office for Bain Capital.

Previously, Mr. Dominik was a partner at Zero Stage Capital, an early stage technology venture capital firm where he helped co-found several successful technology ventures. He was an early investor and assistant to the chairman of Genzyme Corporation. He also served as a Consultant at Bain & Company.
Mr. Dominik holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School (cum laude) and an A. B. in Social Studies (Economics & History) from Harvard College (magna cum laude; Phi Beta Kappa).

Stefan Kaluzny

Stefan Kaluzny is a Managing Director and joined Golden Gate Capital at its founding in 2000. Prior to joining Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Kaluzny conceived and co-founded Delray Farms, a Hispanic specialty food company. At Delray Farms, he led the growth of the company from a startup to $100 Million in 3 years. At Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Kaluzny has focused on transactions in several sectors including software, semiconductors, information services, consumer products and retailing.

Prior to co-founding Delray Farms, Mr. Kaluzny was a Consultant at Bain & Company. He was a member of the private equity group, and advised clients regarding portfolio companies in the airline and consumer products industries. Prior to joining Bain & Company, Mr. Kaluzny was an Associate with the LEK Partnership and President of K-Software International.

Mr. Kaluzny holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School (Baker Scholar) and a B.A. in History from Yale University.

Prescott Ashe

Prescott Ashe has been a Managing Director of Golden Gate Capital since its inception. Prior to joining Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Ashe was a Principal at Bain Capital, which he initially joined in 1991. While at Bain Capital, Mr. Ashe spent the majority of his time working in close tandem with Mr. Dominik in the sourcing, negotiating, structuring, closing, and monitoring of technology buyouts. Prior to Bain Capital, Mr. Ashe was a consultant at Bain & Company.

Mr. Ashe has more than 10-years of private equity investing experience spanning both growth-equity and management buyout transactions. During his career, he has participated in more than 30 acquisitions/ recapitalizations with aggregate enterprise values of approximately $3.0 billion. Mr. Ashe focuses on the following industry segments: electronic manufacturing and other outsourced services; semiconductors; IT services; and traditional manufacturing.

Mr. Ashe holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley (first in his class).

Papken Der Torossian

Mr. Der Torossian has served as a director of Teridian Semiconductor since 2007. He also serves as director for Atmel Corporation (NASDAQ: ATML) and Parker Vision (NASDAQ: PRKR), is Chairman of Vistec Semiconductor Systems and is Managing Director of Crest Enterprise LLC since 1997. From March 2003 until May 2007 Mr. Der Torossian served as Chairman of the Board of Therma Wave, Inc. when the company was sold to KLA-Tencor. Previously, Mr. Der Torossian served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Silicon Valley Group (SVGI), which was acquired by ASML.

Jai Hakhu

Mr. Hakhu has served as a director of Teridian Semiconductor since 2007. He is also President and Chief Executive Officer of RC International and a director of Vistec Semiconductor Systems. Previously, he had been a Vice President at Rockwell International and at Varian Semiconductors. Most recently, Mr. Hakhu was Corporate Vice President and General Manager, Technology Manufacturing at Intel Corporation responsible for worldwide capital development and procurement, automation, training, strategic research, manufacturing and operational decision support for the corporation.

Mr. Hakhu holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Math and English from J & K University in India; a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science; a master’s degree in Solid State Electronics from the University of Roorkee in India; and a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine.

John Knoll

John Knoll is a Principal of Golden Gate Capital, which he joined in 2000. Prior to Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Knoll worked at Covad Communications as a product manager responsible for developing a new DSL service for the largest independent data CLEC. Prior to joining Covad, Mr. Knoll was a Consultant with Bain & Company, and worked in its private equity group. Prior to consulting at Bain & Company, Mr. Knoll developed automated process software for Kawasaki Heavy Industries in Japan.

Mr. Knoll holds an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a M.S. and B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.

Gerald Fitch

President and Chief Executive Officer

Gerald Fitch is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Teridian Semiconductor Corp. In this role he is responsible for guiding the strategic direction of the company, business development and day-to-day operations. He was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer immediately following the acquisition of the company by Golden Gate Capital. Mr. Fitch joined Teridian’s predecessor company TDK Semiconductor Corp. as Chief Financial Officer in August 2000, and became Chief Operating Officer in August 2004.

Before joining Teridian, from 1997 to 2000 Mr. Fitch served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Airport Group International, a privately-held worldwide property development and management services provider owned by General Electric, Bechtel, and the Soros Quantum fund. From 1991 to 1997 Mr. Fitch was Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller of UnionBanCal Corporation and its primary subsidiary Union Bank, one of the 30 largest financial institutions in the United States.

Mr. Fitch received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Southern California.

David Gruetter

Chief Technology Officer

David Gruetter has 20 years of engineering and engineering management experience in development of mixed signal and DSP based ICs for communications and storage applications.

Prior to joining Teridian in 2000, he was Texas Instruments' Director of Engineering for magnetic storage and home networking read/write channels. He had previously held senior engineering positions with Silicon Systems, Inc., which was acquired by Texas Instruments in 1996.

Mr. Gruetter received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, and a second Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Computer Science, both from the University of California, Irvine.
